I love the Topic! There is no qustion that taking action - or the lack there of- Is the biggest problem in entrepreuners have toward generating results. With a background in science, I find the content absolutley juicy, but I wonder if it might be delivered as a matter of Fact(or too factually) as compared to friendly.

alright, let's build me a superhighway!
Posted by: Victory Darwin | 3:50 PM
This is great. I've never really thought about the underlying structures that have come in place within me and look at how they've been the barriers/friction for me.
I like the idea of having the parts come together and have a "meeting of the minds."
I relate this process to creating new action or a thought process to change a pattern as I have learned in the mental training I use in triathlon. I create a phrase or word that has a physical and mental meaning to help boost my performance in training or racing. For example - Relax for speed; I'm in control and relaxed; just keep swimming; just keep spinning; I am a strong hill climber, etc. So I can do the same for those other areas of my life where I have friction and can use a phrase to remind myself of the change, or change the belief to a more positive one.
Thanks for the preview clip. That was a great snipit with a new point of view to help with my self-awareness (or lack thereof). ;-)

Thanks Eben, for your latest video from Your Wake Up Productive Program. It is another tremendously insightful tour de force. I am interested in yoga philosophy and meditation. When stripped down to the the basics these are training systems of the mind and emotions, in order to allow higher consciousness to be accessed and to allow the brain/mind to be permeated by intuition. If, in addition, one looks at money which is honestly earned as "liquid energy" to do helpful and productive things with, one can see how some of these issues are coming together in this Aquarian Age through yourself and other enlightened internet marketing teachers. Funnily enough, even the word "guru" is being widely used in this field as in your own "Guru Mastermind" and one might even think of the Internet itself as some sort of inspired scheme to liberate humanity from both intellectual and financial poverty.
Kindest regards,
Bill

Keep me updated. I will appreciate to get a complete series of all levels of this training video. Roy.

Posted by: Thomas | 6:22 PM
just to let you know that it is very rare that a "guru" uses these techniques that you just describes. Being Present, flowing with Life adn being able to choose and to let go is not an easy matter, nor is it an easy thing to do or to teach. You're choosing your "wording" very nicely. Two thumbs up for that.

Awesome video & great value Eben!
I liked your approach with our inner selves that are keeping us from success and it all made a ton of sense.
The biggest thing that made me say "Aha!" was at the end to put a few quick, easy steps in place instead of us going on and on, wasting our energy.
Wake up productive will probably be one of the best courses for Time Management out there!

Refreshing and genuinely helpful. Theory by itself is interesting but not useful. You have translated theory into action steps that bring the concepts to life. Thanks!
Posted by: David | 7:43 PM
Thank you this is very ministering to me. Knowing that I carry fears from my past. Fear of failure, uncertainty of my future. Being widowed and raising two teenagers and dealing with the state of my finances. Creating my wealth being an entreprenuer.
I will cetner my self beause I know God is in control. I will share this with my team.

This comes at an interesting time for me. I'm reading Tony Robbin's Awaken the Giant Within and he talks about the exact thing with conflicting values like feeling the pleasure of success but feeling the pain of rejection. The conflict of values means you can get no where. You're not going to be successful worried about getting rejected and wanting success.
Your insight Eben with the willpower getting burnt, and waste, was an "ah ha!" moment. Thanks man.
Shirt looks good with your dark hair.

I've noticed a general trend among some of the leaders in the internet marketing space to utilize psychological / spiritual techniques in their materials.
Frank Kern goes out on a limb with 'Core Influence' and then followed it up with his endorsement of Mind Movies, you do it here with NLP / presence, Jeff Walker even gets into it a little bit with some of his materials.
It's refreshing, and I look forward to seeing more of these kinds of materials making their way into mainstream.
I also found your distraction method for dealing with inner friction to be an interesting one.
It's particularly helpful for people who have strong superegos and really carry a guilt complex about "who" they should be or "what" the "right" thing is to do.
I'm grateful I don't have a strong superego, as it's enabled me to move into presence more easily when there's an inner conflict to understand the nature of it more easily.
I happen to love chocolate - and found for me as long as I don't gorge on it, and instead enjoy it in moderation, that I can enjoy the emotional benefits of it without detriment to my health.
Of course, I also eat organic dark chocolate... as opposed to say, a Hershey bar so there is definitely something to be said about the quality of what we eat... and not just the name of it.

Another ripper Eben. For me its all about fear of success. My little man told me he wants to go back to the life he knew most about even though "WE" as a whole were dissatisfied with that life. He has agreed to let me go forward as he admits that he was wrong and that the future was all about achieving a state of financial security. (This "security" appeals to the little man). Does this mean I am schitzophrenic? Im sure that spelling was incorrect. Cheers Bruce.

I really GOT about our three 'brains' or 'entities' and realised just how much of my life has been spent in just this sort of inner conflict. I have a strategy already in place (but guess what...NOT put into ACTION!) for dealing with my number one inner conflict.... Will put it into practice today though...and whoah!!I wonder what on EARTH this might generate!! Mega-thanks, Eben

I agree in the quadrant theory of personality. The dominant quadrant must prevail through force if necessary or the consequence
will be passive. It is funny, I wrote a story about this called "My Black and White Life" the story of the safe brain. Cool Eben!

Thank you. I followed all of the exercises. I had an idea of what has been in my way, but the exercises helped me to clarify my 'friction' areas. I realize that I need to live more 'conscientiously'. It's amazing how you can 'sleep walk' through life, taking the cow paths, thinking you are on the way to building super highways. Awareness is needed. Thank you for reminding me, helping me become more aware.

Thanks Eban for this rich video, I had personal experience with friction when I had divorced with my wife whom I was in a very intense love, immediately after divorce I decided to go for a post graduate studies and in three months i managed to have an opportunity of a master course and successfully i finished it, which had triggered a lot of success in my career, right now I am entertaining the job of a manager in a bank, in a relatively very short period of time.
so in his video you explain me the significance of what I did in a scientific maner so that I can reuse it to eliminate the remaining frictions with more awareness and efficiency.
Thanks once again.
Please keep me posted with any new videos, and may I share them with my fiends or it is not possible please answer me.

Hi Guys,
At the moment I Think I waste more than 30 hours a week.My biggest time waster is reading more than 30 emails a day from various internet marketing guru's and reading their sales letters.
My second time waster is the imformation overload it self and my third time waster is my wife that is spending some quality time with her and doing things for her and helping her I think I must do things for her as a husband.
I like to buy the Eben's time management course but all that is depend on the price he is going to charge me.

Good stuff. The Chinese Buddhists have a saying, 'You must center your chi'. That kind of falls in line, I think, with what you are saying. You must keep yourself centered in order to know in what direction you need to go, emotionally, physically and spiritually. Thanks for the balance bump!

Hi Eben,
Thank you for the great training video.
I suppose this could be something of a strange comment for an entrepreneurial blog but I just wanted to say that you've probably saved me from a major health crisis (consuming too much "bad" stuff and not enough exercise) because of the fascinating and practical insights into thinking, processing, and habitual programming. The video gave me a lot understanding and was exactly the advice I needed to hear. It will definitely help me to become more healthy and, of course, reduce friction and be more productive.
So thanks again. :)
Jonathan P.
P.S.
By the way, guys, if you skipped the exercises (like I sometimes do) I definitely recommend them. Because if you're anything like me you'll have some great insight into what's holding you back and causing friction in your life.

You've certainly done your homework and studied the greats.
Now everyone can benefit from your extensive research.
I am sure there are Neuro-Scientists and Psychologists
that would give there first born to be able to present this
information with such ease and practicality. I for one,
will let as many of them know about you as possible.
In times of questionable elections, chaos, spin, disinformation,

I haven't entered a self reflecting exercise like this since probably early teens at School. It's very liberating to actually look deep inside and be honest with yourself. It is very liberating and as with all of your work, so very straight forward and logical(once you've explained it). We busy our lives mostly unconsciously with so much energy wasting friction.
This was profound for me , thank you again

Hi Eben,
I think the way you teach and communicate these concepts is better that any other of the "guru's" out there. So yep,
I WILL be signing up for the your course but, from what we've seen so far, there's an area where you could make this EVEN BETTER...
I agree with Eldawi (above) - you need to employ diagrams, process and mind-maps so that we better understand your concepts and structures.
Not that I dislike your 'to camera' presentation - nice shirts ;-) your visual dynamic, intonation and camera cuts keep me watching, but is the whole course like this?...
I'd like to hear you and at the same time see you drawing out a structure or referring to a mind-map.
BTW, I'm learning a lot from your launch, esp. the 'REVEALED' video. How can anyone not say 'YES!'

I find your insights very inspiring and usefull!
I like to share with you the most amazing and mindblowing insight that I have ever had. I´m pretty sure you allready know this Eben, because many of your insights reflect this principle: Everything in your life is literally created by you and everything "good" or bad" that comes into your life is a result of your thoughts!
Faith, Hope, Mindcontrol, Perception and Gratitude is therefore Alfa and Omega in creating the things and the life you want!

Dear Eben,
It was great hearing on the piece of training video about wake up productive program. In fact the internal conflicts was a game like in practice and which does effect in-efficiency to all mankind. It did really remind me with food for thoughts and act accordingly from being more careful rather than being too transparent. I am sure many will gain and learn lot from you and am quite sure the world's newer generations will change with execellent results from your expertise.
May many people connect in your teaching and I shall also spread your message to my friends and links.

With so many gushing comments I wonder if the site owner will allow any criticism?
The big "gap" that I see in Eban's methodology is his lack of attention to relationships. Not only do "I" need to be productive but "we" need to work together to build our business and our life. Not dealing with social issues leads to sabotage and organizational conflict.
That said, I would still recommend Eban's program to anyone and everyone. Perhaps relationships will be his next big topic.

This video really hits home. I've been having this friction all my life, but more noticeable in last few years. At 55 years old, I have this inner conflict conerning my career, whether I should stay in a career that I have really grown to dislike over the last 20 years ,or pursue another career that would pay half of my present salary, but I would enjoy much more. And also finish getting my college degree, that would no doubt put in significant debt. You are so right about how this friction robs you of your will power and confidence.
Posted by: Bruce Casazza | 4:32 PM
Hmm. I have wondered about my loss of will power and now I see how it gets burnt up. I am glad to hear about the 4 lane super highway because I thought we do best by not "imposing" our will as the path of least resistance was/is said to be less likely to fail. Interesting. The "diversion" factor works well for me and I may also use it in the new strategies for triggers that create my internal friction. Bless you, thanks.
Posted by: Nicoleta | 5:56 PM

Posted by: Malia | 8:34 PM
Attention redirectives. Bring the parts together is a good process. The parts are often addressed seperately. Getting rid of the prevention will allow success. Maybe I am getting the concept.
Posted by: George | 8:28 AM
Again, I really enjoyed your video - the information presented was clear, simply explained and the use of the exercises to actually put what you were teaching into practice was very effective. It made me really stop and think and acknowledge what part of me is creating friction. Also, being mindful and living consciously is so critical - and I find, at least, not that easy to do. I have to pull myself back many times a day - but I will create a new habit! I'll look forward to part 4.

When hell freezes over and it does here, Ebans voice is the voice I hear from the other cardboard box saying "we can make them stronger we can rebuild them better than new" and if this is the lesson learned in a displaced existence then given the opportunity with Ebans guidance, we will rebuild. Thanks for thinking of us in this new economy...even the price is right.

As long as we stay persistant with our goals they will manifest, without allowing any interference. I'm finding the more dedication i have towards my goal the more of a silent message my body is giving off to people that this guy is serious about his life.

Eben,
When I was a young boy of about 9 or 10, some of my fondest memories of that time were of going with my Grandfather, who was my very best friend throughout my life until his death at nearly 100 years of age, out to the family farm to feed cows.
Sometimes while waiting for the cows to come in off the grazing pasture so we could feed them, we would just sit there in his old 51 Ford PU and watch the wheat grow while he puffed on his pipe.
Sometimes we would talk and sometimes not a word was said. He was sort of a quiet, reflective man of very few words. But at the age of 9 or 10, I was just there for the ride and enjoying his company.
But one day, while waiting for the cows to walk in off the pasture into the feeding area, he made a rather profound observation to me, that at the time was meaningless to a 10 year old mind. But one I never forgot. It required me to become an adult before I finally understood.
But it just confirms what you teach about people and the structures, habits and routines that we sometimes unknowingly create in our behaviors.
As we watched the cows slowly walk in, filed one behind the other, out of the field as they do on the way to the feed area, they always walk in the same path and thus create "cow trails" like you mentioned about the streets of Boston.
My Grandfather took his pipe out of his mouth and simply said this..."People are a lot like cows...no one does a thing until one moves...and then the rest just get in line and follow, one behind the other all in the same rut".
It was interesting and ironic to me to hear your comments about the streets of Boston being just paved over "cow trail" paths of least resistance. And how people unknowingly create these same kind of unproductive structures and routine "rut" paths of habits and behavior.
Wow!! It was almost a déjà vu moment of sitting out there with my Grandfather again. In all my years, I have never heard another person make that same observation. Thank you.

Thanks for the free peak into the Wake Up Productive program. It occurred to me that there are some other practices that could complement the exercises here. For example, I find that Yoga and EFT Tapping have created big shifts away from internal friction for me.

I have personally took this program and can't say enough good things about it. Before I started I would waste so much time doing things that didn't matter and I was scatter brained to put it lightly.
During the program I had many "aha" moments and everything just clicked as I implemented what he was talking about. GUYS implementation is key for this program and any program in order for it to become effective.
Now that I've completed the program I have tripled my productivity in every way and well...shit gets done.

Many thanks for solving my dilemma. Sometimes I have moments of great clarity, Bingo! I know what's needed. Then soon after in sweeps the other voice.
It completely drains me,the will power then has too crank up again for another go.
I was aware of the contradiction but couldn't figure out why this always happens. Now I have the understanding, instead of two steps forward and one back I intend to make it to three.
Great stuff!

Thanks for this
I knew it all before, got a wardrobe full of Tshirts, heard bits from here, there and places you wouldn't expect - like chatting at the bus stop :-)
Here's my point, you do it really well, bringing some old chestnuts and re-framing them with some stuff that is only just hitting the thought-leader circuits. You are really effective - world class as a trainer.
So I learned enough from one viewing to send it off to some friends and will come back to it with a paper and pencil.
I also like your calm style and presentation. You skillfully plowed a furrow through my field of judgement weeds -deep tap roots and all.
Again - thanks

Hi Eben
I am not sure if you read your comments. Let's face it, I do not think so, there so many and it is really overwhelming. So I'd like to write this comment for the other visitors. In case they do not know you well, I'd like to say that u have GREAT programs for improving inner game. And this is the most important stuff. We all have to start to "fix" ourselves from these automatic behaviors, without putting much thinking into it. See I am coming from different country, I grow up in different culture, and still sometimes I keep in touch with family and friends. Your programs shifted my awareness to another level. Thank you for all books and recommendation you gave in your programs, especially in the Man Transformation. I see you want to make the world a better place, and to make people to wake up once and for all :) It is tough, but doing so I am sure you learn more about yourself and the others. So keep going with the great stuff, I am with you on this, all right? :)

Great teaching and easy to take in and applied; If I can put more ideas that you have taught about inner conflict and how to be aware of the energy that might be taking aways from its purpose of success..
The Five sense of what we see, hear, taste, feel & smell have a lot to do with our behavior and decision we make in this life...It could be a two edge sword of a blessing or cursing in our life...Now the foundation of the senses is our mind setting and how has it develop during the years of our existing from birth till the present...We all develop patterns some good and some bad...Now the tick is which is the bad and the good one and keeping the good one and working on that to perfection were we become a experted on that gift..We all have a special gift that is very important to others because it yours and nobody else...So the little things we may think is of no value is probably the most important part of the ingredient to the menu..Remember to become bigger is to start little and grow from that gift were it become you and not someone else...So believing in yourself and how important you are is the beginning of that part that will become the foundation of your success...So Working on the mind setting so it can bring more release of tensions to your inner affairs...Because your thoughts can become your dreams and your dreams will become your life....There so much more to this... But I do appreciate all your wisdom and hard work you have taking to give to us so freely.Thank You!!!
God Bless

Excellent Video.
A must watch for every entrepreneur!
Whenever I sense a friction between the physical, mental and emotional parts of the brain, I have found the following techniques yielding positive results:
1. Doing EFT for each aspect of the friction.
2. Writing my thoughts and feelings on paper and allowing myself to become aware and feel OK.
3. Breathing in thru' left nostril and out thru' right-In order to come in the moment and Vice Versa (in thru' right nostril and out thru' left nostril) to get creative answers to address my concerns.
4. Writing down gratitude journal for everything I have and achieved.

DUDE!! Will you leave this video up? For a Long Time? I'd like to go through it a bunch more... Also - isn't it funny how for a lot of people the path of least resistance is to not do those excercises? I speak from experience... Also, (this might be wieird) I love the black on white color scheme you have going on. The only thing you need to accent it is a shock of color somewhere. Maybe if your eyes were glowing red...
thanks for the wisdom.

Interesting stuff.
We all have inner conflicts, but sometimes people are not acknowledging them, because all of them appear unconscious. The best way to eliminate this "inner frinction" is to become aware of it. Once this is done, locate the source. Usually the inner friction has been activated by past experiences & aggression. Antony Robbins once said that aggression is triggered when people are afraid of something that is not very pleasant, but it may happen again. In other words, the source of aggression is always a form of friction and it is based on something that you want to avoid from happening again.
